A seamless education from 3-18 years.

Each class has a Class Teacher who is responsible for the pupils’ welfare and education.  They will teach the majority of the lessons.

"The pupils’ successful achievements are supported by their excellent attitudes to learning, their outstanding behaviour and the particularly good relationships they enjoy with both their peers and with their teachers. They are well motivated; they concentrate and persevere with their work, which they thoroughly enjoy". ISI Report 2010

In the Early Years the Class Teacher acts as the key person alongside a qualified assistant. Pupils receive specialist teaching in Music, Swimming and Dance.

At Key Stage 1 the Class Teacher has support from Classroom Assistants. Pupils receive specialist teaching in Music, Games, Swimming, PE and ICT.

At Key Stage 2 there are a number of subject specialist teachers: the Head of Music, the Head of Science, the Head of ICT, and the Head of PE & Games. French and Spanish are taught by subject specialists in Years 3 - 6 and Geography, History and Science are taught as specialist subjects in Years 5 & 6.

There are Subject Coordinators for every subject, in all areas of the school, and these teachers monitor the teaching of their subject, maintain the programme of study and facilitate in-service training.

"The staff provide outstanding support and guidance through the roles of the class and subject teachers". ISI Report 2010
