On behalf of the Key Stage One team I would like to welcome you to the Royal Russell Junior School. Our Key Stage One team joins the Early Years team, to create the Lower Junior School, an environment where your son or daughter develops in all curriculum areas and as a unique individual. Children's enthusiasm for learning is built upon through the integrated, creative and dynamic approach to teaching in Years 1 and 2. Our facilities and 110 acre site enhance the opportunities for learning indoors and out. By the age of 7, the vast majority of our children achieve standards above and beyond national averages and more importantly have developed the skills needed to prosper as an independent learner as they move into the Upper Junior School.
