In the Summer Term of 2004 the school was privileged to have the new Sports Hall opened by tennis champion, Tim Henman.

Tim played a truly memorable game of indoor tennis with Head of Geography, Mrs Rose Gedney. Rose won, but Martin Tanner was umpiring! Hmmm!
