Pat (known as Bruno) Bygate was at the school from 1946 to 1951, and was in Cambridge House. He now lives in Como, Italy, and has taken the time to write this article about his fond memories of his schooldays, which he has called 'Ballards Days'.

We are very grateful to Pat for taking the time to send this, and hope that you enjoy reading it.
