Offering to help before events or at other times during the year is invaluable. It doesn't matter if you can't help on a regular basis, or even if you can't come into school. Much of the work can be carried out at home if thirty minutes is spared, for example, baking cakes or wrapping gifts. We really couldn't achieve what we do without the unseen ‘army of help' that exists in school.
There is an elected committee, with co-opted members, which usually meet twice a term. The members consist of parents, guardians and staff from both the Junior and Senior Schools. The Junior School has a network of class representatives who act as a direct link between the Committee and the Junior School parents.
The Committee plans events throughout the year and this is where you can help. Please do get in touch if you have experience of running social events no matter how small or large. We would be delighted to hear from you. You can choose how much or how little you want to do. Yours skills would be most appreciated.
As with all committees, we hold an Annual General Meeting and everyone is welcome to attend. It is a chance to offer feedback to the Committee on how we are doing, voice your opinions or offer suggestions for the future. At this event, there is an opportunity to select the Committee for the forthcoming year.
If there is something you feel that you can offer to the Committee then we want to hear from you.
