Cambridge House is one of the two residences for boys who board at Royal Russell. Each year we have about 40 boarders from all over the world and about 30 “day students” (boys from the local area in South London). So the atmosphere in the House is very cosmopolitan - everyone is expected to play a full part in the social, academic and sporting life of the House.
|
Academic work is most important but sport plays a big part in the weekly list of events - we compete against the other boys’ houses in a large number of sports and we win many (but not all !) of the competitions. We also have a number of non-sporting events during the year and everyone is encouraged to take part. We organise fund-raising events, barbecues and a house party, as well as taking part in the school’s programme of week-end activities.
