On the 25th of  March, eight Queen’s House senior boarders, accompanied by Miss Cassim and Mrs Pepperdine, went on a sponsored Crocus Walk in aid of the Breakthrough Breast Cancer charity.

They walked from Tower Bridge to Covent Garden via the South Bank, combining their fund-raising with some London sightseeing, and finishing with a good lunch.   It was a fun morning and a rare occasion when sensible shoes were the order of the day!!

In all, £661.41 was raised for the charity: £203 from the sale of badges, donations and rattling a collecting box on the way and  the rest from sponsorship money.  Well done, girls.  Start training for a longer walk next year!
