Could it be that all that time ago Nostradamus would predict so accurately the events that unfolded in Madden House this year? You must decide yourself when you read this extract from Les Prophities (1555):

…And at that time a mottle rabble shall assemble and be cast aside. They shall dwell in that which no other shall want. But unbeknown to the rest they will be strong, especially their leader who shall be as Ivory. As fast as the wind and of the strongest moral fibre shall he be. He will lead them in the pursuit of glory and again and again he will prove his mettle. And to his banner they will flock. None shall withstand him.

No Saint, No Keables, Not Oxes, Nor Bridges . At his right hand shall be his namesake. And O he will be as slippery as the eel and as whylie as the fox. There staff shall support them and be leaned upon much. But they shall not break. Or even have a break. And a new challenge will face them involving wit and cunning. And they will fail. For they are no Saints. But from the ashes, a new champion shall be chosen and so it shall continue until the mottle rabble are ultimately victorious. You have been warned!”

It’s probably just a co-incidence so let’s not read too much into it. Anyway well done all Maddenites and a special thank you to those who gave time, blood and lost property.
