N A R B O N N E . 2 0 0 6 IWe met in the car park at four p.m. on the 19th of August, ready for a twenty-one hour coach journey to Narbonne. When we arrived, we were greeted by smiles and cheers from the friendly instructors at the camp. We stayed in hard floor tents and ate in a large marquee. The tents were surprisingly spacious, and there were three or four persons to each one. In the eight days we were there, we enjoyed a huge number of exciting activities, including Pico and catamaran sailing, banana boating, dragon boat racing, high ropes, kayaking, raft building and windsurfing. Everyone achieved their 1 Star in kayaking, and we all felt a great sense of achievement. The evenings were filled with more activities such as beach Olympics, shopping in town and going to hypermarkets. We were accompanied by the instructors on all of these activities. Everyone had a wonderful time, and we all have many fond memories. We are all looking forward to going back next year! Charlotte Jennings
