Royal Russell schoolboys Pepe Jesus aged 11 and Jayden Harris aged 10 were delighted to both be still living their dream as they re-signed to Charlton Athletic and Fulham Football Academies.
Pepe, who is signed to Charlton Athletic was spotted whilst playing Sunday league football for the Wickham Wonders in West Wickham. He dreams of one day being a professional footballer just like the professional players he met at the club. When asked what he would do if that dream did not come true, Pepe replied, “I will still play Sunday league no matter what.”
Jayden also loves his football and he was spotted at some open trials that he attended. He also dreams of being a professional football player but when asked what he would do, if he does not get to see his dream come true he replied, “I'll play basketball instead.”
Both boys train three times a week and play matches on Sundays.
