The team won every match in the first round convincingly. They then went through to the quarter finals and won that match against Smitham 6-0, they played Greenvale in the semi-finals winning 7-2. They then played Atwood in a very tense final and went on to win 2-1, making a clean sweep of the whole season and seeing the Royal Russell School team lifting the cup for the second year running.
Following such tremendous results a member of the Croydon Schools organisers said, they were one of the best teams she had seen in a long time and naturally everyone at the school is very proud of them.
This winning side have made a clean sweep and are officially the best U11 school netball team in Croydon at the moment. Congratulations girls!
