Marriages and Anniversaries

MARRIAGES

Charles Froy, known to many O.R.s as he still works at RRS and helps on the O.R. committee, married Carolyne on Friday 24 August 2012 at All Saints, Sanderstead. The reception followed at The Warren Sports Club, Bromley.

Congratulations to Shauna Freeman (at school 1997-2004) and Madaliso Simango (at school 1999-2004) who were married on Saturday 15th September. Many O.R.s were in attendance as can be seen by the accompanying photo.

James Ransom (at school 1996-2002) and Halcyon Smith were married in Camden on Saturday 1st September, after which the guests were all taken by coaches to High Barnet, the home of Halcyon, for a bbq reception. The couple honeymooned in Belize.

Congratulations to Patrick Sherlock (at school 1973-1979) who married Flo on Saturday 24th September 2011. They are pictured here near Sanderstead pond, in thoughtful mood, shortly after coming out of the church service.

Congratulations to Mrs Amy Roseweir who married The Revd Michael Field on Friday 15th July 2011, and the marriage was celebrated with a blessing service in Chapel and party for 200 people at RRS on Saturday 27th August 2011. The day finished with country dancing and bacon sandwiches - a really good time was had by all!! Amy retired as a teacher from RRS in July and is now moving to her new 'married quarters' in Northwich.

Congratulations to Peyrouz Modarres (at school 1988-1997) who married Maria Phillips on Saturday 21st May 2011. Peyrouz is a regular attendee at O.R. events, and his new wife will be working at RRS from September 2011.

Congratulations to Chrissie Tanner (1988-1998) whose marriage to Matthew Clarke took place on Friday 16th April 2010 at Lake Maquarie in Sydney, Australia.

Congratulations to Ali Ansari (1978-1986) whose marriage to Marjon Esfandiary took place on Sunday 21 March 2010. At the celebration of their marriage the following Friday at Chatham House SW1, Ali thanked his teachers for their dedication to his education, and particularly to the late Judith Chapman who was his mentor on the road to his successful career. Ali signed copies of his book, in memory of Judith.

Congratulations to Jonathan Davis (1987-1992) whose engagement to Janet Waite was announced in July 2009. Jon and Janet were married on 20th February 2010.

Congratulations to Oliver Antrobus (1986-1994) who announced his engagement to Lisa and were married in Melbourne on 19th December 2009.

Congratulations to Katie Hogben (née Chinnock) who was married on 27th June 2009 at St John's Church, Old Coulsdon followed by the reception at Nutfield Priory. Katie is now working at Woldingham School. Pictured in her wedding photo here are, from left to right:

Diana Head (1996-1998) (and boyfriend Justin), Louise Piggin (1991-1998), Katie (1996-1998), new husband Glenn, Tieri Tizard-Varcoe (1991-1998), Ilgi Kim (1989-1998), Vicky Chapman (girlfriend of Alex), Alex Mitchell (1994-1998). Lisa Taylor (née Pearman) (1988-1998) and Tessa de Reuck (1990-1998) were also there but didn’t make this picture.

Congratulations to Alex Wan (1994-2001) on his marriage to Muna on 21st January 2009 at Oaks Farm, Croydon.

Congratulations to Petra Clarke and Oliver Hirschmann who were married in the School Chapel on Saturday 19th August 2006.

Congratulations to Kira Morgan (née Kopylova) (1997-2000) who married in 2004 and now has two children, Maximus and Eva.
