| Gareth Southgate |
We were delighted to welcome Gareth Southgate to the school on October 6th 2010. He was introduced to our Junior School children during assembly where he talked about his career as a Football Player and Manager. Mr Southgate also gave the children a real insight into why it is so important to not be afraid of failure. He then went on to speak to our Senior School pupils on a similar theme with a clear message inspiring them to aim high at all times. The children then asked Mr Southgate all sorts of questions about his time as a professional sportsman.
It was indeed an honour to have Mr Southgate, who has played no less than 57 times for his country, at our school. Please scroll further for pictures and a Biography.
