Harvest Festival at Royal Russell - September 2010
The weather may be getting a little chillier but the pupils have been celebrating this wonderful time of year with a traditional Harvest festival service. The pupils have been contributing all sorts of Harvest related foods plus shoe boxes full of goodies to the CROYDON NEIGHBOURHOOD CARE ASSOCIATION, who make up hampers which are distributed throughout the community, in the hope to make someone feel a little warm inside!
Members of the School's Nursery dressed-up as colourful scarecrows as part of the celebrations. The three to four year olds all brought along Harvest gift boxes and performed beautifully the Dingle Dangle Scarecrow song.

Last year the charity was able to help 400 households in the area of which Royal Russell students made a very significant contribution towards. They are hoping to be able to do the same again this year for the alone or housebound in our local area.
Good work one and all!
