Easter is now fast approaching, but due to the vagaries of the calendar, it is very late this year giving us one of the longest Spring terms possible. Despite this, we have maintained an active pace throughout, resulting in a consolidated period of effective learning alongside excellent extracurricular achievements. The new Performing Arts building continues to impress, and all who have attended the many functions held during this term have complimented the acoustics and layout. It may also have been a contributing factor to the record numbers of prospective “Russellians” attending our entrance examination in January!

I am pleased to introduce this newsletter as a 'window on our term' and I hope that you will enjoy the following accounts of the wide ranging activities our pupils have been involved with alongside other news and items we would like to bring to your attention.
