Ski Trip 2013
This week KS1 were delighted to welcome the Quantum Theatre Group who entertained the children with a vibrant and interactive show called ‘Mrs Jessop and the Maths Lesson of Doom'.

The show was a feast for the senses with singing, acting, video clips and interactive maths activities for all the children to join in with. The show was most valuable in reinforcing the maths curriculum in KS1 including skills in counting, times tables, number bonds, place value and calculation strategies. The children were engaged throughout and responded well to the performance.
It was a real pleasure to see them all enjoy maths so very much and we are looking forward to bringing the ideas from this show into the classroom so that we may continue to keep this important subject area alive.
