The Orchestra performs a varied programme of music from the classical and popular traditions of the music repertoire.  The Orchestra was honoured to play for HRH the Earl of Wessex when he recently visited the school to open our new Performing Arts Centre.  Repertoire includes concertos when pupils of exceptional promise are invited to play solo roles as well as mainstream symphonic repertoire.  It is pleasing that the school regularly sends pupils to the National Youth Orchestra. The Senior Orchestra gives regular concerts in school and also performs in the local community.  The Senior Orchestra is honoured to be the ‘Orchestra in residence’ for the Croydon Champions Awards held at the Hilton Hotel since its inception.  The Senior Orchestra is looking forward to their tour to Norway where they will perform in Bergen Cathedral as well as accompanying the Choir.
