Cricket Nets Appeal

Sport plays a major role in the life of Royal Russell and beyond.  We have exceptional on-site facilities and continue to invest heavily in sport.

This year, as part of a wider vision for Royal Russell sport, we are laying down 6 state-of-the-art cricket nets as our non-turf cricket practice facility.  This will greatly improve cricket performance and coaching across all ages.

Royal Russell has a regular fixture list against strong local teams and cricket is run year round to maximise potential.  We enter the Surrey Cup to test ourselves against the best regional teams and have achieved some strong results in the past, beating the current Kent champions last year and competing with a strong touring regional Barbados side.  Royal Russell also has strong club links with Dulwich CC, Addiscombe, Trinity Mids and Old Whits. We have a number of district and regional players at the school who, like all the cricketers, deserve the best facilities.  We achieve what we do despite requiring updated outdoor training facilities.

We are looking to raise £100,000 to fund the new nets and we hope you will be able to support us.  I would be delighted to show you the site for the new nets at any time.
