Dr Mike Peacey - The Economics of Making Decisions

On Wednesday 28 January, Dr Mike Peacey, a lecturer for the Economics BSc at New College of the Humanities gave a stimulating talk entitled "Nudging people into making better decisions" on the economics of making decisions, which was enjoyed by  economists and non-economists alike. 

In addition to speaking at conferences across Europe, Mike has also gained European-wide coverage for his work including The Guardian, The Economist, Spiegel (Germany) and STV (Sweden).

This year Mike won the Maria Jesus San Segundo Award, given for the best paper presented by young authors (AEDE). He also received an award from the University of Bath in recognition of his contribution to teaching and learning.
