Annual Music Supper
The Music Department is proud to announce its annual music supper. Hard on the heels of the successful Songs from the Shows and Songs from the 30’s you are now cordially invited to a Night at the Movies. Come and spend an evening in the Great Hall listening to favourite songs from the movies of the 20th Century. The odd number from the 21st might even find it’s way in. Be entertained by the amazing singers and musicians of Royal Russell School.
Tickets are still only £10 and includes supper, served in the Dining Hall during the intermission. Bring your own drinks and glasses and any pre supper nibbles. There will be a movie based table quiz and a raffle
Tickets can be ordered via firstname.lastname@example.org or through the Music Department by emailing email@example.com. We have special tickets this year and will be given to you at the door on the night! Unfortunately all tickets must be pre ordered – there will be none available for sale on the night. When ordering tickets please let us know if you have any dietary requirements ie vegetarian or gluten free.
We look forward to you joining us on Saturday 28th February at 7pm – you never know – you might have to sing for your supper!!
On Wednesday 28th January, a lunch time concert took place in the Chapel. Very well done to the following students for their fine performances:
Alexander Franklin (Voice), Rebecca Clery (Flute), Thalia Selby (Violin), Arios Hu (Violin), Jaimin Patel (Voice), Jessie Hunt (Voice), Ryan Appadu (Guitar) and Farhoud Pishnamazi (Guitar).
Thank you to Mr Millward for his piano accompaniment, and to everyone who braved the cold wind to come over to the Chapel to listen.
