The Admissions Process
You will receive a warm welcome from the first phone call, during your visit and throughout the joining process. We are happy to answer any questions and guide you through the admissions process.
We recommend that the first thing you do is come and see us. We are a welcoming, family school and would be happy to show you around at a time to suit you during the academic year. You will have the opportunity to see our school in action, view our stunning grounds and extensive on-site facilities.
The usual point of entry is our Nursery, where girls and boys can join us in the September after their third birthday. A few additional places are available at Reception and places may arise from time to time in other year groups.
Your next step is to complete our Registration Form. Please complete via Wisepay online here. For entry in September 2020 your registration form should be completed by 31 October 2019.
A registration fee of £100 is payable and once we have received this, we will arrange a convenient date for your child’s assessment.
Royal Russell is a popular school and demand for places is high. Entry is based on a series of assessments designed to identify potential and places are offered to those children who demonstrate that they will thrive in our stimulating and rewarding environment. Upon receiving our offer of a place, an acceptance deposit is payable to secure this place for your child.
Joining information is sent out in May and various induction events are organised for both new parents and pupils prior to joining in September.
We would be delighted to answer any questions you have about our admissions process and look forward to welcoming you.
