The r – Royal Russell’s pupil-led school newspaper – was published in houses on Thursday 16 October.
The issue is the first to be published in the 2014/15 academic year and features ex-Russellian Sadie France on the front page.

The newspaper is aimed at students across the age range and features news, opinion, games, politics, fashion, sport and an agony aunt column. The 16-page issue includes articles on feminism, the rise of Nigel Farage, the upcoming MUN conference and comments on the new school timetable.
Some 45 students and 10 staff contributed to the issue, which was coordinated by the editorial team of Jamie King, Maddie Beadle and Georgia Davies.
