Nursery & Reception Registration

Lower Junior School

We are delighted that you are interested in applying for a place for your child at Royal Russell.

At this stage, a registration fee of £150 is payable for Nursery (VAT not applicable), or £180 for Reception (inclusive of VAT). Once your child is registered, we will contact you with further information regarding assessments, interviews and taster days to complete your child’s application.

When applying for a place, you will be welcomed and supported from the first phone call. If you have any Admissions related enquires, please contact our Junior School Registrar at admissions@royalrussell.co.uk.

Registration Process

Please read the information below prior to registering online and please ensure you have the following documents available.

Once you start the registration process, we would kindly ask you to continue through to submission as registrations cannot be saved and re-started. Please allow 30 minutes to complete the form.

The following documents must be pre-scanned and ready in one of the accepted formats: .pdf, .doc, .jpeg or .jpg.

  • Identification documentation: A copy of your child's passport. If they do not have a passport, please upload a copy of their birth certificate.
  • Copies of two School Reports, one being the latest school report (this is not required for Nursery applications).
  • SEND documents, including Educational Psychologist report (if applicable) **.
  • Credit or Debit card for the registration fee deposit.
  • The name and email address of your child’s current Head (for school reference purposes). For Nursery applications, please supply your current setting details..

** SEND information must be provided at the time of application, including any supporting evidence: an Educational Psychologist's report dated within the last 3 years, Specialist Assessor Reports, Medical Reports, a Statement of Need or an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP), along with a letter from your child’s current school outlining their current exam concessions and usual way of working. If information regarding SEND or other special needs is not disclosed during the admissions process, this may lead to a review of any place offered and may result in the withdrawal of an offer
