The London Experience at Royal Russell

London is one of the most dynamic cities in the world, offering unparalleled access to culture, innovative thought, history, intellect and fun within an inclusive and multi-cultural environment.  The London Experience at Royal Russell School gives an incredible opportunity to experience one year or two terms studying at one of the most exciting Schools in the UK, just 30 minutes from Central London, within 45 hectares of beautiful Surrey woodland.

We have three options for the London Experience for pupils joining us in Years 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12:

1. September start for one year

2. September start for two terms (September - April)

3. January start for two terms (January - July)

·         Leadership and public speaking opportunities

Co-curricular programme

·         Model United Nations – annual four day international conference; attendance at others

·         Music – students can be prepared for ABRSM grades; concerts

·         Drama – students can be prepared for LAMDA grades; school productions

·         Combined Cadet Force (Army & Air Force sections)

·         STEM

·         Russell’s Teapot – student run website and magazine for Science

·         Linguistics

Sports programme

·         Wednesday afternoon sports: football, basketball, netball, hockey, aerobics, table tennis, swimming

·         Football Academy (for specialists): national standard; UEFA qualified coaches; individual strength and conditioning programme

Boarders’ social programme

·         Boarders’ evening sports: basketball, badminton, volleyball, strength and conditioning gym
·         Weekend Activities: go-karting, rock climbing, abseiling and sailing
·         Visits to cultural/historical attractions, including museums, galleries, castles, street markets, etc.

How to applyAs each pupil is unique, the first step is to contact the Admissions team on admissions@royalrussell.co.uk to discuss the personal circumstances of the pupil.  Our team of specialists will then advise a bespoke educational pathway for their year in London and advise on associated fees.
