What is your top reason for working in Education?

I love working in an environment where every day is different. I love seeing the children grow up. Seeing names, as the children get older, perhaps someone who applied for a bursary, and then is doing really well through the School is lovely to see.

What do you enjoy most about your role?

I love the variety of the job. Being a PA is interesting. Working in the operations department, you go from dealing with an issue regarding estates to problem-solving a catering issue. No day is ever the same and I just love my job.

What is your favourite thing about Royal Russell?

The warm feeling you get here. Everyone is helpful and we are one big team. You cannot beat the atmosphere.

How do you fill your time when you’re not in school?

I love meeting up with friends, going to restaurants, theatres and cafes to catch up. I have three grandchildren so that keeps me busy, and number four is on the way!
