- Pension Scheme Support Staff
All Royal Russell support staff between the ages of 16 and 75 are eligible for the Royal Russell Aviva Pension Scheme (RRAPS). If you wish to join the pension scheme, the School will pay 7% of your basic salary into the scheme. Staff may also choose to contribute personally to the scheme. From 1st September 2024 the school will pay 8% of your basic salary into the scheme.
- Life Insurance Support Staff
All permanent support staff receive life cover at 3 x annual salary through the School’s own insurance policy provided by AIG
- Pension Scheme Teaching Staff
From 1 September 2024, all new joiners to our teaching staff will be placed on our enhanced, RRAPS, Teaching scale and those between the ages of 18 and 75 will be automatically enrolled into our Royal Russell Aviva Pension Scheme (RRAPS). The School will contribute 4% of your basic salary and you will contribute 7% of your basic salary into the scheme (with the option to contribute more of your salary, should you wish). Please be aware that, from 1 September 2024, the School will no longer offer the TPS to new joiners.
