3 hard standing Netball courts seasonal, complete with sunken posts and protection. 3 Tennis court markings seasonal ideal for matches/tournament and club training. This area is floodlit and host is a large caged area.

Sand dressed Multi Use Games Area available for hire. Suitable for weekly or casual/one off bookings. This is a floodlit facility. 3 Netball & Tennis courts seasonal, Seven a side football, Hockey pitch. This space is excellent in facilitating your club or groups new venue, or host a great outdoor event.

The Swimming Pool measures (approx):- Length – 25m Width – 8,5m 

Air temp - 31 degrees centigrade. Deep end - 2.0m Shallow end - 1.0m 4 lanes with Anti wave lane ropes and racing flags. Water temp - 29 degrees, backstroke markers and 4 staring blocks.

Parties include floats, toys and spraying of water, making the pool as fun as it can be. All our pool parties are presided over by fully qualified RLSS NPLQ Lifeguards. Pools - 25m pool depth - Shallow end 1m - Deep end 2m - Small pool depth 0.70m.

Parties are held on Sundays 11:30 – 1:30 & 3:30 – 5:30pm.

Our state of the art 8 floodlit Sand dressed Astro available to hire as a full pitch. Suitable for groups and clubs of all sizes. The perfect facility for hockey and many more sports and activities.

The Sand Dressed Astro measures (approx):- Length - 98m Width – 30m

It also features 6 hockey goals, we can have one full size Hockey pith or use the dividing curtains to make 2 cross pitch or 9 Tennis courts. Dugouts are also available to use on the area.

Royal Russell School is conveniently located in Croydon just 30 minutes from Central London and convenient for London's airports, Heathrow and Gatwick. Coombe Lane Tram stop is located a two minute walk from the school and links to East Croydon Station.

We can provide a backdrop for filming, drama or photoshoots. We have provided the location for Dramas such as The Durrells. The School has also been the scene of glossy magazine shoots and TV Commercials.

We are a film friendly venue, and we offer an array of locations for hire. With 110 acres of natural woodland and have extensive sports, arts, drama, music facilities and boarding houses, set in a university style campus. We have a variety of buildings dating between 1924 and 2020 and have a location for every occasion. The School has a variety of areas for a unit base (up to 90 cars in size).

Please note that we are a school, so availability is limited, we do hire out facilities during out of term dates in which filming can take place in beautiful locations and spaces. There is no fixed rate for filming, photos shoots and photography. Every quote is based on an individual basis and depends on all aspects including length of shoot, technical requirements, size of crew/production, locations required and any security aspects.
