Trampolining

The Junior School trampoline club is coached by ex GB trampolinists and offers an extensive programme catering for our recreational bouncers to our Elite level performers.

Training is held in our large Sports Hall where we have 6 trampolines, 2 of competition standard and 4 training beds. We work closely with RSC who train at Royal Russell and compete on the National circuit, we have access to their 3 National standard trampolines when required.

At local level we host Novice competitions and the Croydon Schools event where we win at both Novice & Elite level. We also host the IAPS Trampoline National with over 200 competitors it's a great event and we receive some excellent feedback about the standard of the competition and how well it is run.

Our Junior School pupils compete at a variety of levels and we have amazing success across the board. We compete on the National schools circuit and at Regional level win many individual and team titles, these pupils continue to compete at Zonal level and usually a team or an individual will qualify through to the National Schools Trampoline finals.

At the National IAPS championships we once again are very successful, we have won the U11 team title 4 times, had many pupils on the podium at both U9 and U11 level and our B and C teams also regularly win their competitions too.

The pupils in the squads make exceptional progress due to the programme we have available, many of our younger pupils are already learning somersaults! The trampoline club is always very popular and we love our Friday night sessions seeing the pupils having so much fun.
