Media Technician

c£23,195 per annum for 0.8296 fte (full-time for 37 weeks pa)

Are you currently working in education or the media industry and have a passion for production and supporting young people to realise their creative ideas?

We are looking for a Media Technician. You will support the Media department to deliver the practical elements of their GCSE, A Level and BTEC courses. Media Studies is an incredibly popular subject and also provides our students with many opportunities to use their practical skills in whole School events such as our highly successful MUN Conference and Royal Russell Day. As our Media Technician, you will assist students to produce their own media texts for their extra-curricular Media projects and supervise their use of the Media Studio and Apple Mac edit suites.

Visiting Music Teacher (Drums)

 September 2022 - 7-15 hours per week

We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated and effective Drum Teacher to join our team of 21 Visiting Music Teachers (2 in Drums) in our thriving Music department which also includes 3 Classroom Teachers and an Administrator. You should be able to enthuse and inspire students with a love of music and able to teach drums to Senior School students at all levels. You will be self-employed and handle your own billing to parents (current rates are £41.00 per hour) but support will be provided.

You will be emphatic and understanding of the fast paced and constantly changing landscape within a sporting environment at an energetic independent school.

Senior Recreation Assistant

40 hours per week

£26,457.60

Are you enthusiastic, energetic and willing to work as part of a friendly team to provide a fun, safe and quality experience for all of our users?

You will be a key holder of the facilities and assist in the day to day running of the pool, sports hall and other facilities that are hired out on a regular basis. You will oversee the casual lifeguards, acting as their mentor and role model. You should have real attention to detail as you will be ensuring the safety of our young students and customers as well as the cleanliness of the pool environment.  You will provide front line supervision to ensure the effective and safe operation of the facilities.
