Director of Sport, Health and Fitness

Full-time teaching post  - September 2022

Salary of up to £60,000 (including membership of TPS)

Are you an inspirational and experienced leader, looking for your next senior role as a Director of Sport, Health and Fitness?

You will have a clear understanding of how essential school sport and fitness is for today’s young people.   You will take this understanding and deliver demonstrable impact across the Royal Russell community, leading sport, health and fitness across both the Junior and Senior schools.

Responsible for developing, establishing and leading a creative and exciting programme, you will enable all pupils to engage with physical activity at the right level for them.  You will ensure that sport, health and fitness are accessible and welcoming for all, aligning with our vision of being the family school of choice.

This exciting position will suit a strong marketing and communications practitioner with a flair for delivering clear and distinctive messages.    The successful candidate will show drive, excellent interpersonal skills and an understanding of our customers although previous schools’ experience is not necessary.

Senior School Registrar

We are looking for a Senior School Registrar who will primarily focus on the admission of day pupils; being the first point of contact for families considering joining our community.  You will have a warm and engaging personality, strong communications skills and the ability to build relationships with new families quickly.

General Catering Assistant

£21,144 pa for 37.5 hour week (£10.70 per hour including shift allowance)

5/7 days 2 week shift pattern

You will help with serving customers in the front of house area, and assist with preparing and clearing the dining hall and servery area, and cleaning and washing up of all kitchen and service equipment, utensils and crockery both by hand and using mechanical equipment.

Commis Chef

Salary up to £23,352 pa rising to £24,636 pa from September 2022 inclusive of shift allowance for working 5 days out of 7 all year round,

37.5 hours per week.

30 days annual leave plus paid Bank Holidays

This is a great opportunity to work with an experienced team of chef’s and develop your culinary skills in all areas of modern cooking including our 5* hospitality offer. Working as part of a team reporting to the Head Chef it would be an advantage to be qualified up to level of NVQ Level 1 (Hospitality and Catering or Cooking for the Catering Industry) or equivalent, although training will be provide for the right candidate
