Jennifer is Vice Chair of the Strategy Appointments and Remuneration Committee and a member of the Education and Welfare Committee and has specific responsibility as the Staff Liaison Governor.
A former CEO of the Girls’ Learning Trust, Jennifer brings to the Board over 35 years of experience in education across a range of sectors.
She began her teaching career in Glasgow comprehensive schools. Since then, she has been Head of English at Rosebery School in Epsom and at Wallington County Grammar. She was Deputy Head for ten years at Wilsons School in Sutton and spent seven years as Head of Brighton Girls’ School, GDST. Most recently she has been chief executive of a successful multi-academy trust.
Jennifer is also Chair of the Governing Body at Great Ormond Street Hospital School.
