Sir Philip Moor

Joined our Board of Governors in July 2009.

Sir Philip was a High Court Judge assigned to the Family Division until his retirement in October 2024. Whilst a judge, he was the Family Presiding Judge for Wales and then for the South East of England. He was Chair of the High Court Judges’ Association. He has now returned to his old Chambers at 1 Hare Court, Temple to undertake neutral evaluations in relation to the financial consequences of divorce. He was previously Head of these Chambers, where he was a KC (then QC) specialising in the same work. He is an Honorary Fellow of Pembroke College, Oxford.

Sir Philip is a former Royal Russell parent with both his daughters having attended the School.
